To protect you and ourselves, we need to enforce certain conditions:
What’s included in the price?
- We will test / inspect all electrical appliances on site in accordance with the IET Code of Practice (unless instructed otherwise) including server systems
- The quote is based on an approximate number of items; if there are more or less items the final price will be adjusted accordingly
- If you’re unsure of item numbers (to the nearest 100) we recommend you arrange for us to visit your site in advance
Payment Policy
- Once the price has been agreed, it can’t be changed or re-negotiated
- We accept payment by bank transfer or cash
- Our payment term is due on the date of the invoice, unless agreed in advance – if your payment term is 30 days, 60 days, etc. please advise us when you confirm the contract.
- Invoices not paid by the due date will be subject to a reminder letter which is chargeable at £10.00
Paperwork
- We issue as standard an overview list of all appliances tested / inspected including the results of each test carried out
- We also issue an overview PAT testing certificate as standard
Frequency Requirements
- How often you require PAT testing is based on risk assessment which you are required to do
- We can advise you on the best course of action
Cancellation Policy
- If you need to cancel an arranged appointment, please give us more than 48 hours’ notice
- If we arrive on site and can’t get access (due to you not cancelling in advance) we reserve the right to invoice you for £45 or 10% of the quote value – whichever is higher; as we need to cover our loss of earnings
Your acceptance & Booking
- By accepting the quote, you accept these conditions; acceptance can be by email or verbally
